Today I had:
2 little packeds Florida's Natural Fruit Nuggets, 100 calories
1 liter of water, 0 calories
1 bag Emerald Glazed Walnuts, 980 calories (that's 7 servings by the way, and not much better than the chocolates calorie-wise, but I did get 14 grams of protein)
1 cup white rice, 190 calories
1 bag Bird's eye Steamfresh Asparagus, gold & white corn and baby carrots, 280 calories
1 single serve bag Bird's eye Steam Fresh Sweet Peas, 70 calories.
Grand Total so far if I dont go home and snack more: 1620 calories.
I bought a pedometer yesterday from TJ Maxx for $7.99. I looked at amazon and saw that I got it for about half the price!
This pedometer counts steps, has a clock, has a timer, measures distance and counts calories burned. So I'd be able to see that in 2 hours, walking x amount of steps I burned x calories. It says that for the amount of time I've worn it today I burned 16 calories. Sad sad sad.
I think I must not have it in the right spot. Surely I took more than a paltry 250 steps. No wonder my knees complain when I try to do any serious walking. Seriously though, I think maybe this thing isn't sensitive enough. Maybe I need to bounce more when I walk to make sure it counts every step.

the greatest thing one can do on this journey is log what they eat.. keeping track of what goes in .. helps you see patterns, see where you need to improve, see what works and what does not work.. so logging food is great.. also logging your thoughts and feelings help too.. there is a great weight watching blogging community out here..
Welcome to the Healthy You Challenge! Happy Thanksgiving!!
Welcome to the HYC! Great score on that pedometer! (I love when fitness meets frugality! :))
